I am always looking for bins this size and shape so I picked up a class set, despite my no spending vow. i limited myself! The only other things I bought was napkinseven thouh these were many tempting items! Well, I would like to pick up a couple more. I know, if you are like me, teaches hord bins and organizing items! I really didn't need more bins and I'm not sure what I am going to use these for, but I needed them! You know how it is.
I thought I might use them for student book baskets, but they are not super durable and I had lots of conversations about not kicking bins back into place in my classroom last year - the result was quite a few broken bins that were much more durable. I also have the cardboard file holder from Targets Dollar Spot and those seem to work really well.
They might make nice containers for picture books. I guess I'll have to see as I move into my new room in a few weeks (yikes!)
They also had pink and a few black, but I cleaned out the lime green and turquoise. They go with my dots on turquoise things and I seem to gravitate towards these colors. I liked the pink, but it's just easier to avoid buying it because the little guys can be so anti pink!
I'm off to class in few hours (it'll be a miracle if I can make it through Quant!) and plan to stop at one more Big Lots on the way so I can get a nice, even 25 bins.
Oh, while I'm thinking about it, I have been debating about what social media to be on. I have a Facebook page, but don't foresee Twitter. How about Instagram? Are bloggers finding it useful? I guess I'll need to break down and get and iPhone!
OMG.. I love these bins.... I MUST stay out of Big Lots!
