Oh, No! and a Linky Party

I lost my post about picture prompts!  What a bummer!  I wrote a new post in the window of the old post on Windows Live Writer and it overwrote the writing post.  I really like that one too!

I am looking for some great ideas and I know everyone out there has amazing ones!  I am wondering how other teachers communicate with paraprofessionals or assistants in the classroom.  I have worked with paras for the last 4/5 years and the working relationships and needs of the class are always different.  How do you communicate your daily support needs?  How do you share needed information during the day?

Please link up and share your ideas for communicating with support folks in your classroom!

  1. Oh, how I WISH WISH WISH we had paraprofessionals and aides. That would be so FAN.TAB.U.LOUS! Consider yourself VERY lucky. :D

  3. Just found your blog! And I wish I knew the answer to that question! I have had an aid in my classroom for part of the day for the past two years and she's a very nice lady, but I do struggle with communicating my needs with her.

On the other hand, the second grade resource teacher spends a good chunk of her day in my room and we are so alike (and best friends) that we don't even have to communicate! We're that good haha.

  4. I had a teacher assistant one year. I made a space for her for when she came to my room. Sometimes I would leave a post it note on papers for her to grade. Other times, I would have a copy of a lesson plan if I wanted her to run a group. I would just highlight her section. She was a wonderful lady!
