Teacher Wish List

Really Roper is having a "My Wish List" Linky Party!

I guess I am one of those teachers who buys a lot of what I really want myself. I swear, if I ever leave my building or district, there will be very little besides furniture left in the room! I have given away most of what I do not own and filled the room with my own things.

Here are a few things on my wish list!

Really Good Stuff Book Bins - I have some of these, but I really want a matched set all the same color. I have been tempted to put in an online order about a dozen times!

Classroom carpet - how silly is this! I moved from a tiled room to a room with carpet last year and really miss my bright rug. I bought an oval one last year, but dream of one with colored squares to give each student a space.

IPod - okay, to be honest, I'm not really sure what to do with one or how I would use it, but I really would like to play with an IPod.

IPad - again, not sure what I REALLY need this for, but I have a dream of using it during writers workshop to show students mentor texts right away.

DocuCam - I would really like a docucam to project games on to my Promethean Board. We have one at our school, but I never think ahead far enough to sign it out. I found a good deal on one on Amazon and it had pretty good reviews, so I am thinking that will be my big purchase this year.
***Update - I ordered this! I used some of the moeny I had built up on my credit card. So, it's like it's free...right?!?

Wingback Chair - I would LOVE a big comfy chair - even though we teachers rarely sit - to put in my meeting area.

I can't wait to see what others dream of having in their classroom!
